Earth Hour 2008

I’m typing this in the dark… 8pm - 9pm, Saturday the 29th of March, 2008 is Earth Hour.

Over 20 cities around the world are taking part this year, one of them being my home town of Brisbane, Australia. The general idea is for everyone to turn off their lights between 8-9pm and see how easy it is for individual action on a mass scale to help change the planet for the better.

It’s a great initiative and even if your city isn’t officially taking part, I urge you to consider switching off your lights.
